Welcome to the health and wellness information page of school nurse Kathryn King, RN, NCSN.   Here you will find forms and information commonly needed for the school year.  Graduating from Lenoir Community College with an Associate's Degree in Nursing, I have practiced nursing for more than 30 years, working in healthcare settings that include hospitals, a doctor's office, correctional facility, and public schools.  After working for many years I returned to school at the University of Mount Olive, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Management.  My credentials include being a National Certified School Nurse, a Certified CPR Instructor, a Nursing Assistant 1 Instructor, and a Medication Aide Instructor.  I am available to assist with any medical questions or needs your student may have.  You may contact me by phone or email for assistance.  Also, you are welcome to visit me in the nurse's office at B. F. Grady during the school day.
