Welcome to B. F. Grady STEAMA 2.0!

 I'm Mrs. Joy Howard and I will be your STEAMA 2.0 teacher/facilitator this semester.  I am excited about this 2023-2024 school year!  We will be exploring our new curriculum together and learning creative, fun STEAMA concepts through hands-on activities!

This is my twentieth year at B. F. Grady.  I taught Middle Grades Business Education (computers) for the first ten years and nine years ago I began teaching STEM.  I graduated from East Carolina University, with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing.  I worked in private industry, in accounting, sales and marketing, for seventeen years before I began my teaching career.  I am married, I have two sons, and five dogs.
